• One of the 36 properties I designed for infill sites in the De Beauvoir area was recently on the market at close to £1M.   Not bad for a timber frame 6P3B  council house built  in 1977 !
  • The special apprentice training demonstration project at Powell House completed in 1983 featured energy conservation measures  such as 100mm fully filled cavity walls that would still be used today.  The design was an early attempt at a “defensible space” layout  based on principles that later developed commonly as Secured by Design. –   Good detailing plus use of stain can make timber boarding still look good 30 years on
